Andre Darby

Humble, Patient, Anointed & Talented are just a few words to describe André D’Arby. He is a gifted singer, songwriter,
playwright and producer. His artistic skills have forwarded him the opportunity to share his talents with many across the
world. He is often compared as being the Gospel version of his oldest brother, Grammy Award winner & multi-platinum
recording artist, Terence Trent D’Arby. Andre was born in Deland, Fl, to Bishop James & Frances Darby. His father is a
Pentecostal preacher and his mother is a retired educator and a powerful vocalist, whom he inherited his voice. His first
acting opportunity was a leading role in the Gospel Musical Tell Hell I Ain’t Comin. Andre was approached by DeLand’s
City Commissioner Vonzelle Johnson to partner his talent with the city’s urban arts initiatives, whereas, he birthed his first
written production, A Journey To Redemption. Andre has produced two more productions, and mentors upcoming actors
and writers throughout Central Florida. Andre is currently working on his sophomore album, Contemporary Me.
