Ed Avery
Edward Avery got his start at an early age, like most musicians. Unlike most, he started on an unlikely instrument – Tonka trucks! In October 2014, Edward organized The Unit, a musical collective that allows Edward as well as other singers and musicians the freedom to create and share organic artistry without compromising the music or kowtowing to industry standards. Though he hails from Mansfield, Ohio his gift has taken him across the country and even overseas to Cuba. As a father of two Nya (11) and Josiah (5), Edward’s career goals include establishing himself as an international household name with music that combines lyrical content and timeless standards. Ultimately Edward wants to develop a proactive after school program for youth to help channel the negative ills of society into a productive and meaningful way to choose artistry as an alternative to negative influences.
