JR Edwards

JR Edwards was born to parents Bishop James and Elaine Edwards in October 1979. JR was brought up to fear and reverence the Lord Jesus Christ and the importance of music. JR began his musical career at the age of nine. JR accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at age 14. His love of music and God allowed him to become even more productive in his music career as an accomplished keyboardist and drummer. The many musical and professional accomplishments were noticed by the Yamaha Entertainment Group and in 2002; JR reached a great achievement and was awarded an endorsement from the Yamaha Entertainment Group. In 2006, JR launched JR Edwards Ministries, which specializes in promoting excellence in music production, songwriting sessions, workshop conferences, clinics, and much more. JR currently attends Ohio Christian University working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and serves as the Musician Director at the City of Zion (Columbus, Ohio) under the leadership of Pastor Elgin Orton.
