LaKeisha Cotten
Multi award-winning Gospel Artist and Businesswoman, LeKeisha Taylor-Cotten, is a Mississippi Delta girl born
and reared in the city of Indianola. Although her choice of genre is inspirational/gospel, you can hear the strength of her testimony when she sings. A product of humble beginnings, yet victorious and self-accomplished. LeKeisha Cotten is a brand all by herself. Her work in philanthropy has afforded her the opportunity to work with organizations across the world to affect change for social, economic and Kingdom justice. She was an intricate piece to post-recovery after Hurricane Katrina, by serving as a Community Recovery Leader for the Children's Defense Fund in 2009. Her efforts helped to write and submit a disaster recovery manual to, then U.S. President, George Bush and incoming President Barak Obama.
LeKeisha has traveled the world performing and leading choirs and congregations in worship. LeKeisha was licensed in 2012 and ordained into the Gospel ministry in 2015. She was honored to minister for political giants – 3 US Governors, 2 US Presidents, and 1 International Ambassador. LaKeisha is married to Curtis Cotton, Jr, and they have 2 children, Mattie and Israel; and one granddaughter, Grace.
