Marcus Carr hails from Kansas City, who quickly amassed a national following with his assertive, anointed, and Rhythm & Praise style singing and dancing. This unique brand afforded him the opportunity to share the stage with multiple singing sensations across the country, in both R & B and Gospel genres. Soon after giving his life to God he then released his debut single “Holy Ghost Party” (2009). This good feel/holy hip hop track was well received and warranted him mass appeal, including charting #90 on Billboard. Marcus followed up with the sultry sound of “Thank You Lord”, a groovy single sharing Marcus’ testimony about his appreciation to God for sparing his “mind” during the loss of his newborn son. Marcus is currently gearing up to release his EP through Dream/Capital Christian label including releasing his new single “No Hindrance.”
