Powerhouse Fellowship Soul Choir

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, the Powerhouse Fellowship Soul Choir is a group of talented teens and young adults with a passion and goal to change lives through music. Fondly referred to as POWERHOUSE, the choir was formed in 1986 for a church building fund program. The director and founder of this anointed choir is Shawn Cotterell, whose dream is to make a lasting impact and impression on mainstream music. To witness the performance of this group is refreshing and exciting. The Powerhouse Fellowship Soul Choir took part in Toyota’s Olympic Campaign “Hands Across America” commercial, with the ad airing during NBC’s coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics. Members of the Powerhouse Fellowship Soul Choir were in the Lifetime Network “The Clark Sisters” The First Ladies of Gospel” biopic and the “Madam CJ Walker Story”.
